Repeat beta: "good"

The repeat beta was - in one word - "good". And that one word was all I got, but I'm not complaining. Music to my ears.

On the symptom front, there is still very little to report.
  • A tinge of queasiness now and again, but nothing I'd call nausea. This afternoon I learned that grapefruit juice, hot chocolate and camomile tea don't make it go away. I'm impressed that combination didn't make it worse, though.
  • Slight breast tenderness, but not all the time.
First scan is next Monday.

Wonderful! In a way it would bother me not to have the beta numbers, but then again - there is such a thing as too much information :) I'm so glad that all is well and I can't wait to hear about your scan!

Sounds great to me, too, Lut!

I am so thrilled for you, and can't wait to hear how things go on Monday.

Queasy is how I'd describe my feeling too... and it goes away as long as I eat! I'll take it!

I agree. "Good" is fabulous. :) I recently reread my blog and I was in agony over having been given beta numbers - sometimes "good" is all you need to know.

And saltines or other crackers may help with the queasiness. I always found it worse on an empty stomach.

Congratulations! Can't wait to hear the husband's reaction as well. xo

wow they are stingy with the information at your clinic. But good is good. And monday isn't too long to wait for the scan.

I am finding that protein helps the queasyness better than carbs. I was eating lots of crackers and toast and that wasn't helping at all. But yogurt really helps. Any kind of dairy - milk, cheese, etc.

I admire your self-restraint. I'd be tackling the Docs for the numbers at this point, now matter how fantastic.

But hey at least the scan is on. Woo-hoo!! Don't forget to get us a picture!

Wow, that's GREAT news!! And I do know about feeling frustrated with only knowing that you are prgenant, not any numbers. Hey, all I got was to pee on a stick...

I'm waiting for the news on the scan!

Grapefruit, chocolate and tea - you are just asking for it! Better be careful with that combo. I'm glad to hear that the beta numbers were good. Looking forward to some good news from your scan.
