35w2d: Doing well

Just a quick update about the check-up today. My doctor was satisfied with all the measurements.
The Insider has grown some and appears to be doing well in there.

I was asked to keep a chart with fetal movements, which was also in order. I have to count kicks until I get to 10 and then note down the hour when I reach that number (counting starts at 9 AM). So far, I've gotten to 10 fairly quickly. If it suddenly takes all day to get to 10, I need to go in for monitoring.

Sitting back and relaxing is not as easy as I would have thought. Not going in to work is easy, as is not cleaning up the house. The nursery to be is calling me to put everything in order though. Right now, it's like a store room with a whole lot of baby stuff thrown in. But I must ignore it.

Next check in ten days.

I've been exactly where you are - worrying about kick counts and what's going on inside there. My little one was born at 35w2d and was perfect. Here's hoping yours continues to cook a little bit longer. I'm so excited for you - the end is so near!

I am glad all is well. Relax. It is the last chance you will have for a while!

Thanks for the update. So happy that all is going well right now! I agree with the last post...relax while you can. The nursery will get done when it needs to and you will soon be wondering when you ever did "just sit."

That all sounds good, Lut. Shame you can't stem your urges by getting someone in to do your baby-room-bidding all day. "A little more right! No - not that far! Oh, for heaven's sake, just put it down and get me another glass of ice water, will you?"

Thanks for the kind comments on my blog. I'm glad to hear that things are going well for you, and that the rest seems to be doing the trick.

So glad to read you are doing well. I hope the fixing and preparing is going well.

I really can't believe you only have four more weeks to go (officially), possibly fewer. After these years of trying and trying and hoping and all of that time suddenly has started to move so quickly. Wooow. HUGS.

Sounds like everything is going well.
I found it hard to stop working - then when I was home - couldn't believe how much time I could waste!

When you're used to getting up and getting things done, sitting back is hard. It's not long now. Take care.

Lut, I am so excited for you. I bet you can keep this baby cooking for a little longer - but it can be really hard just sitting around and taking it easy. Have your hubby take care of things - not often can you boss them around with a doctor's order!!

Wishing you all the best for your delivery, in case I don't make it back to blogland promptly...
