Save the date

Just a brief note to say I have a hypothetical transfer date, this Saturday. More importantly, I have a real thaw date the day before.
As it happens, Friday is a sort of team building day at work. I can tell you, I really look forward to a meltdown in public.

I still haven't managed to scrape together the courage to tell my RE that I've made an appointment at the Bigger Clinic. I don't exactly expect a bad reaction, but still it's a hurdle.

I hope everything goes off without a hitch, and any worrying is for naught.

Best of luck. Not only do I wish you an absence of public breakdown, but also an absence of reasons for any sort of public breakdown.

And yes, scraping together that courage is hard. Good luck with that, too, although I'm sure (as you say) you will wonder why you needed it after it's done.

Hope everything went well.
I wouldn't bother to tell your RE - until you've had your appointment and IF you've decided to move. Then all you need to do is request for your files to be sent across. As personal as all this is for us - its still just another business.

Hoping there's no need for a meltdown on Friday. I never told my doc ahead of time when I did second opinions. They don't usually take it in a bad way, though.

Anyway, hoping for good news on Friday and Saturday!

Oh, Lut, best of luck to you! I hope Friday is far better in every way than you fear, and that Saturday is the beginning of something wonderful.
