A first!

I was still lounging in my bed this morning, when the Clinic called
several hours before I expected them to.
Could I come in straight away for a transfer?

You could have knocked me over with a feather - except I was too busy
- I had to rush out and jump into the car.

2 embryos were thawed, and both were transferred. Amazing. Simply amazing.

So, after all this time, I have my first FET under my belt (pun intended).

Oddly, they cut the 2WW a bit short, they want me in for a beta test
in 9 days and a repeat 2 days later.
If I calculate correctly that would be the equivalent of 12dpo and
14dpo. I'm guessing I could use a HPT that early and trust the result.
Sort of.

Thanks for all your messages of support, it means so much.

It had to happen sooner or later. The statistics were starting to look downright odd. And we all know the world loves to make its statistics look good.

I'll be hoping for even better stats from you in, gosh, only 9 days' time.

Yay! How old are the embryos (3day, 5day)? If they're blasts, then it would make sense to have the beta earlier. Not that it really matters, as long as they do what they're supposed to!

Congrats! I am so very hopeful for you!

The early beta makes me worry a little. I've always heard that betas rise slower following an FET. That could be a myth though. S is right that an earlier beta would make sense with blasts. I'm sure your clinic knows better than me!

Fingers crossed for you!

What is your deal with these FLASH attempts?? I love your style. Me? Oh I moan in painful to read detail prior to anything and you just go balls out and do it.

Great start so far. Best, best wishes and keep us posted.
